Principal's Message

Dear Hidden Hills Families,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! My name is Mrs. Godbout, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Hidden Hills Elementary. Whether you are joining our school community for the first time or are a returning family, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure our scholars receive the exceptional education they deserve.

At Hidden Hills, our mission is clear: all students will learn at grade level or higher. We strive to be a school recognized throughout the community for the academic excellence of our students. We don't just believe that all students can learn—we live it every day through our actions, support systems, and high expectations.

Equally important to us is the emotional well-being of our students. We are dedicated to creating a school culture where every child feels safe, valued, and connected. Our approach is proactive, not reactive. Programs like our New Student Lunch, Lunch Bunch, small group and one-on-one counseling, Kindness Crew, Bully Prevention Month, Kindness Week, Mindful Mornings, and Second Step lessons are just a few of the ways we support student wellness and belonging. In addition, our implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) helps us foster a respectful and inclusive school environment.
We are also proud to offer a robust STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) Lab where students engage in hands-on learning and creative problem-solving. The lab includes tools such as a green screen for video presentations, robotics equipment, and iPads to support multimedia projects. Additionally, thanks to Capistrano Unified, every student has access to a one-to-one Chromebook, ensuring equitable access to digital learning.

I am truly excited about the year ahead. With your partnership, I know we will accomplish great things and provide our students with the very best educational experience.

With warmest regards,
Mrs. Sandra Godbout
